Patience is more than VIRTUOUS!

"Patience is not passive; on the contrary, it is active, it is concentrated strength."
- Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton

It's a sad fact that most people give up on themselves and this business way to quickly.

They try a system or method out then get angry and give up because their life didn't instantly transform from one teeny investment into themselves!...

They lack vision- and patience.

They don't realize that everybody, yes, EVERYBODY goes through the initial failures, setbacks and growing pains.

So ya, it may be a jagged little pill to swallow, but that elusive Patience is required.

By patience is not passive! It's very active.

It means slowing down and focusing on high impact activities.

It means consistently applying proven methods that will work, it means testing, tweaking, learning, increasing your daily skills and smarts with the business and opportunities that you're a part of.

It means getting seriously Good at FOCUS.

Here's one to store away in ye old brain vault:

"Every YES must be defended by 1,000 NO's."

Get that. It's power!

You don't want to be a victim of the Paradox of Choice.

The problem isn't that there is not enough opportunities out there in the world, the problem is that there are TOO MANY opportunities out there.

So when you Decide? Decide.

Commit...

Stick to it...

Don't let other opportunities and offers rob you of your sanity and success.

Online Boko Haram supporter arrested and faces terrorism charge

An Abuja Federal High Court has ruled that a
suspected 'online' terrorist, Muktar Ibrahim [aka Abu
Sabaya], who supports the activities of the Boko
Haram sect on the Internet, must answer charges of
terrorism brought against him by the Federal
Government.
The court presided over by Justice Gabriel Kolawole,
while dismissing a no-case submission filed by the
accused person, ordered that he should be remanded in
prison pending the determination of his case.
The accused person was described by the prosecution as
an online personality, who was celebrating the bombing
campaigns of the Boko Haram sect on a jihadist website
while also soliciting funds from international terrorists
groups to fund the activities of the sect in Nigeria.
Ibrahim, a First Class graduate of Mechanical
Engineering from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria,
was said to have registered his email address –
banatsuad1@yahoo.com – on a jihadist website to post
messages on the activities of Boko Haram in the
country, contrary to the provisions of the Terrorism
Prevention Act, 2011.
Some of the messages said to have been posted by
Ibrahim on the website in February 2012 read "…is
there any way we can help the mujahahiden in
Nigeria by AMEF projects? We are ready to release
videos, statement and other material to support our
brothers in Nigeria."
The Federal Government said the post was a message
preparatory to an act of terrorism, an offence contrary to
section 1[1] [a] of the Terrorism [Prevention] Act, 2011
and punishable under section 33 [1] [a] of the same Act.
On or about June 16 2011, Ibrahim was said to have
posted a message that read,
"The wind of rage has been unleashed upon the
battalion of the tawaghit and all their allies in
Nigeria. In a successful attack, a severe attack and
damage at the heart of the security apparatus of
the Nigerian government, the Muwahhidin, with
the assistance of Allah, were able to deal a great
blow to the government and also to prove to their
masters in the White House that our call is based
upon actions rather than speech.
"Many Nigerians were very happy about the blast
because they are frustrated by the tyranny of the
tawaghit and their hijacking of the country's
resources for their selfish interests.
"This attack is indeed a success because prior to
the attack the Nigerian Police Force on behalf of
the Inspector General of Police Hafiz Ringim,
boasted and he vowed that the days of the
Muhahhidin in Nigeria are numbered. Little did
he know that the Muhahhidin are on their way to
his palace in Abuja."

Ajudua asks for fresh bail for $5.9m fraud

Ajudua

A one-time Lagos socialite, Fred Ajudua, on Tuesday filed a fresh bail application before Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye at an Ikeja High Court. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Ajudua is standing trial for allegedly defrauding a former Chief of Army Staff, retired Lt.-Gen. Ishaya Bamaiyi, of $5.9m (about N1bn). He was arraigned on March 11 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on a 14 count of conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretences. During Tuesday’s proceedings, his counsel, Mr Olalekan Ojo, informed the court that the defendant’s bail application had been served on the EFCC. In the application, Ojo urged the court to grant Ajudua bail on liberal terms, adding that there was is overwhelming medical evidence that he was suffering from a life-threatening ailment. He said: “The defendant (Ajudua) is a kidney patient and his only surviving kidney is about to collapse. “The medical facility at the Kirikiri Maximum Prison, where his health is seriously failing, cannot adequately meet his medical needs.” According to him, because of the peculiar and complicated nature of Ajudua’s ailment, he requires a specialist with Hi-tech medical equipment to manage his health effectively. Ojo said the defendant would abide with the terms of the bail and would not tamper with the prosecution witnesses. He also told the court that the defendant had filed another application asking for the inclusion of his extra-judicial statement in the proof of evidence. Responding, the EFCC counsel, Mr Seidu Atteh, said he needed time to file replies to both applications, as they were served on the prosecution a few days ago. The judge granted his request and adjourned the matter till May 9, for hearing of the applications. NAN reports that Justice Kudirat Jose, also of an Ikeja High Court, had on March 31 dismissed Ajudua’s bail application. Ajudua is facing another $1.69m fraud charge before the judge.

2015: INEC to begin voter registration in May

Kaduna – The Chairman,  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega,  on Wednesday said the commission would commence its continuous voter registration in May ahead of the 2015 election.
Jega said this at the opening ceremony of INEC/State Independent Electoral Commissions (SIECs) Experience Sharing Conference, organised by United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) in Kaduna.
He said that more polling units would be created in the next year general election to decongest large polling units.
“The continuous registration exercise is to ensure those that have turned 18 years between 2011 and now are registered before the 2015 general elections.
“Also those that were 18 and above but were unable to register for one reason or the other would  be given opportunity to register.’’
The Chairman stressed the need for closer synergy between INEC and SIECs, adding that the conference was timely toward ensuring free, fair, peaceful and credible elections in the future.
He, therefore called on the state governments to ensure absolute independence of SIECs and credible elections at the grassroots.
According to him, there cannot be credible polls at national level when the foundation is faulty.
Jega further expressed optimism that the 2015 general elections would be the most credible in the history of Nigeria considering the INEC’s level of preparedness.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that participants at the conference, included INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioners from the 36 states and Abuja.
The others were Commissioners from INEC Headquarters and top management staff and SIECs Chairmen. (NAN)

Gunmen from Boko Haram sect kill 13 people in fresh Borno attack

Gunmen from Boko Haram sect kill 13 people in fresh Borno attack
Suspected members of the outlawed Boko Haram sect on Friday attacked a police station, barracks and commercial bank in Damboa, around 100 km south of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, killing 13 persons.
Reuters reports that the attackers used explosives and assault rifles in the incident, in which eight civilians and five policemen died.
The attackers detonated explosives and opened fire on the divisional police headquarters in Damboa.
Police Commissioner, Borno State Command, Mohammed Jinjiri Abubakar, blamed Boko Haram, whose members have been blamed for almost daily killings in recent months, including frequent attacks on policemen, soldiers and local leaders.
”Police and military personnel have mounted a massive manhunt to arrest the more than 70 Boko Haram members believed to be involved in the attacks,” Abubakar told Reuters.
Police Deputy Superintendent Abba Lawan Kirawa confirmed the death of the 13 persons.
Members of the sect launched an uprising in 2009, attacking government buildings and leading to days of gun battles with the security forces in which as many as 800 people were killed.
The persistent insecurity in the region near Nigeria‘s northeastern borders with Cameroon, Chad and Niger on the southern edge of the Sahara risks becoming President Goodluck Jonathan‘s biggest security headache, Reuters reports.
The group was blamed for a series of explosions at police stations last week and security in the capital Abuja has already been tightened ahead of Jonathan‘s inauguration on Sunday.
Gunmen in the state capital had on Thursday shot dead a prison guard. In a separate incident in the same city, sodliers were involved in a gun battle with suspected Islamists.
Motorcycle-riding gunmen shot and killed the prison guard as he was waiting to pick his boss‘ children outside a school, Lawal Abdullahi, spokesman for the state police command, told Agence France Press on the phone from Maiduguri.
”The prison warden was at the wheel outside the private school his superior‘s children attend, waiting to take them home when he was shot and killed by the attackers we suspect to be members of Boko Haram, who then burnt him along with the car,” Lawal said.
